Could someone tell me where I might go (website) to do a search of particular Institutions that meet GAAP criteria?

    Degreeinfo.com itself

    www.worldwidelearn.com

    www.elearners.com

    www.universityalliance.com

That's a good place to start. Remember, American universities should be regionally or nationally acrredited to be considered GAAP. However, regionally accredited institutions will be more likely to meet the GAAP criteria.

Foreign universities are a bit trickier, but UK schools such as University of London quite popular and heavily recommended by a lot degreeinfo.com users.

I think that the first thing you need to understand is that there really is no such thing as GAAP criteria. What I mean is that the term "GAAP" is a rather informal term coined somewhere back in early DL history by some unknown person. It is a term that suggests that there exists a set of accreditation principles that are generally seen as indicating that a given school provides an education of some minimum acceptable quality. There is, however, no "GAAP" agency or organization and hence, no list. What I could suggest is that the closest thing to a "list" of these schools would be the latest edition of Bears Guide.
