    What a bunch of crap.

Under her attorney's logic, a large number of students equates to a quality institition.

Under that rule, Columbia State, the Romanian operation, and various other frauds would be the finest our country has to offer...

Of course, note that he made no other specific refutations of any claims... a typical non-denial-denial.

A series of enlightening reports brought all major degree mill operators to an abrupt halt in China,Dr.Asher and others are in town to figure out a formidable method to blackmail the media to offer an apology with legalistic threat. In my humble opinion, they all shall not succumb to legal battle pressure,as justice firmly sides with the justified party, furthermore, if there are indeed nefarious errors or derogatory assessment at the outset ,I opine they shall have already promptly kicked off any likely tough battle at the early August.

Btw,Chip, they told Chinese's top media that you have issued a statement flatly denying any rightful comment about degree mill operations particuarly in connectionwith AWU,is that true or totally untrue, have you been approached by AWU people lately and actioned upon their request...

    Best Regards

I hope the Chinese authorities throw Asher in jail.

A sad point is that 12,000 students have been fooled into thinking that AWU is a U.S. university.

    The short answer:
I have absolutely not issued any statements denying anything regarding diploma mills in general or AWU in particular.

    The longer answer:
Neither I nor DegreeInfo have ever heard a peep from Maxine or anyone at AWU. They're probably smart enough to know that if they were to threaten us, we'd post the threat and make them look like even bigger fools than they already are.

I did do a lengthy telephone interview with one of the reporters for one of the Chinese media some time ago on the subject of fake and less-than-wonderful schools. In it, I described the methods and actions used by these schools to recruit and deceive students, the use of fake accreditors and various other things. The interview would have been very unflattering to schools such as AWU. I absolutely stand by everything I said in that interview.

I'd be more than pleased to have this posting forwarded to any of the Chinese media if there are any questions, and I would be particularly interested to see a copy of the "statement" that I allegedly issued denying comments about degree mills.

People should note that the address of this supposed law office, 23067 Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills, California, is the same mail-drop address used by Asher's brother, the accountant James M. Klein.
