On November 3, 2003 the First Circuit Court of the State of Hawaii entered a default judgment against Kensington University (a Hawaii corporation).

Under the terms of the judgment, Kensington University is enjoined from operating any degree granting institution in, from or under the color of Hawaii law. The judgment also directs the state's Business Registration Division to terminate its corporate existence. Kensington was also ordered to offer full restitution to any students or graduates who enrolled after July 1, 1999. The court also imposed civil penalties of $300,000.

Note: although Kensington's primary website was taken down by the webhoster following the filing of suit, at least one Indian affiliate contains to have a viewable webpage.

Anyone wishing to see an unfiled electronic version of the default judgment may email requests to [email protected].

Pardon my English, I am writing from P.R.

Good work JE Brunton, with your work, Hawaii it is no more a haven to degrees mills operators. The universities that survive the regulations of the Office of Consumer Protection and First Circuit Court of the State of Hawaii, will be considered good and legal universities.

    Continue with your good work.:D
