    Firstly,

Want to thank you all for all the useful information that has been posted on these boards, keep up the good work.

    secondly,

Wanted to ask those who have taken any of the above mentioned exams (taking both text on friday the 31st) for any last minute ideas on both the criminal justice and Intro to computing Dantes. (So far I've take intro to law enforcement *64 and spanish*78). Has anyone come across any useful summary sheets or review websites that i can be directed to?
    Thanks.

    DANTES Intro to Computing

I took and passed DANTES Intro to Computing in Aug '02.

Overall I thought the best textbook resource to help one prepare for this exam was "Computers" by Long & Long. I used the 8th Ed which I was able to buy used for about $5-$10. I also took www.istudysmart.com's preparation course for this exam and found their 261 question practice exam close to the real thing.
The preparation course was based on Long & Long 8th ed. and required one to type in the answers from the text to questions posed online. I did a few of these and then decided it wasn't worth my time so I just took the practice exam twice and reviewed any questions I got wrong or wasn't sure about.

I also read and did the exercises from Brookshears's text "Computer Science: An Overview". While I consider this a much better Into to CS book than Long & Long it appeared to me that the exam was based on Long & Long so that's my top recommendation.

IMHO this was an easy exam if you have any experience with using/programming computers.
