Ok really i hate anything to do with school yet as it goes degrees seem to be that one thing everyone wants. I mean i work for an ISP for 2 years (im 20) im one of the head systems managers and IT technicians. Yet im scared to even move back to the US without some form of certifications. So i went and enrolled in the EducationDirect Associates of Specilized Business in Computer Science (What a mouth full) Really i wanted to stop waisting my time. I'm pretty much going to fly through the majority of the cource i was a wiz at business and accounting in school and have done computers and networking since i was 10. But the thing is with all the word on accrediation and credits etc. I really don't know how/what to plan to do next i want to get a full degree associates / bachelors im not looking to go above bachelors in the long run except for some side certifications MS and CC. With the education direct asb what do i do next to move to a full degree does anyone know a college (online or not) that i can transfer the credits to continue afterwards im really in the dark here all ED said was "check the ACE website" not very helpful in my view.

Any help at all would be really appreciated Thanks Guys/Gals

Ok, according to ACE education direct has courses (I am not sure if ALL of the courses are but I am fairly certain the ASB courses are) that are evaluated by ACE.

There used to be a link, somewhere, that not only listed the school but also listed each course and how many credits it was worth. I don't know where it went; but, it seems like the only way you can know for certain whether or not some/most/all the courses in the ASB in Applied Computer Science from Education Direct is shell out money for the National Guide to Educational Credit for Training Programs ($105... <cough>).

If the courses are reviewed by ACE, I would imagine you would be able (pending program requirements) to transfer coursework into a Bachelors in something computer related.

Here are some schools that have online computer programs:

    Touro Intenational University

    UMass Online

    Atlantic International University

    Baker College

There are many more (just go thumbing through the Computer forum to look for more discussions on computer programs.

    Hope this helps,
    Bill
