Hello all, I'm looking at a degree offered by Brock University - Bachelor of Education (adult). I see that this university is AACSB accreditted. I had done a search on this site and there have beed a number of threads talking about AACSB accreditation; I don't think however that any of them answer my question. Is this accreditation of any significance to an education degree or is it really for business degrees? NB- I'm sorry if this is a stupid question or if it is in the wrong forum. Cheers.......
Brock's MBA program is AACSB accredited. If you are interested in their BEd in adult education you should email their registrar for information: Rosalia Friedrich, Office of the Registrar, Brock University - 905.688.5550 extension 3158 [email protected]
There are several programs out there that seem to be accredited AACSB, but are not. "Technology" degrees are ususally not in the business department, so that degree would not be accredited, though the business degrees may be AT THE SAME SCHOOL. Not a dumb question at all.......
I did my B.Ed at Brock and found it to be a perfectly respectable University. I teach in the Ontario High School system
Many of my former classmates at OISE picked Brock over UofT/OISE for their BEd program. They chose OISE only because it would have been expensive for them to live in residence or travel from Toronto to St. Catharines every day.
