It is a familiar story...this forum has helped a great deal in my search for a viable path towards my doctorate. I have spoken oft and fondly of it to anyone who will listen!

My brother is currently looking at adding to his B.Ed and specialization (Special Education). I have passed on the name of a few on-line/low residency/summer residency programs I have run across. I also mentioned "Bear's Guide to earning Ed Degrees by DL"

The problem is that his area of Special Ed is working with youth appointed to alternative schools because of court orders, behavioural problems, etc. and it is represented by a few classes but not entire tracks in the programs I have looked into

Does such a program sound familiar to any of the local Ed Gurus?

    migwec,

    Jeff

I'm not pitching for Capella, but I do like their offerings....

You could look at getting their school psychology grad certificate(6 classes from the school of psych), then transferring most if not all the credit towards thier general M Ed if the program works out. From what I hear about Cappella that would probably be acceptable.
