I'm looking for a Bachelors degree in forensic science that is offered via online/distance learning. I know National University has a Masters in Forensic Science but I'm looking to do a career change. I'm a former military police officer with an IT background. Do to my service-connected disabilities; I've been disqualified 4 times from the application process with 3 local police agencies and 1 federal agency. I have a strong interest in staying with law enforcement and see how the IT market is now. I figure this would keep me close to the desired career avenue. I also saw Saint Petersburg's Certificate in Computer Related Crimes and am definitely going after that once the Bachelors is done. Thank you, Nathan Dawson
I just completed all coursework at AIU for a Bachelors in Information Technology. I will be using Veteran Administration approved Vocational Rehabilitation. So since I'm not exactly footing the bill, I don't mind doing a second Bachelors before moving to a Masters. I feel the foundation would do me good. But you do pose very good advice. I will apply to National's Master of Forensic Science. I just wanted to have a something that separated me from being a "mainstream IT professional". Does that make sense or am I being weird?
National's MFS program is easy to get into.. smooth sailing right up until you smack into a wall which seems to be (variably) 3-7 courses into the program. PM me if you're seriously considering it. Regards, DM
