The Excelsior Production Operations Management exam was recently toasted... I did ask an Excelsior counselor, but never got a real answer as to "why". Seems it was a staple for the business degrees. Maybe there is a replacement course in the works?
Does this sort of thing happen at Excelsior? Excelsior really appears stable, but maybe some observations from the experienced panel of contributors can shed some light on the "why".
    Thanks in advance.

It seems that Excelsior revises its exam offerings every October 1, and may drop some of them. "Religions of the World" and "History of Nazi Germany" will no longer be offered after 30 September 2004. Dropping exams is not new; Regents College (as Excelsior was then called) stopped administering the MLA exams in the early 1980s.

I have no idea "why". Apparently students are being directed to Ohio University's "Principles of Operations" exam or Thomas Edison State College's "Introduction to Operations Management" TECEP exam.
