    I was wondering soemthing here:

I am scheduled to finish my BA degree through Excelsior College by March/April 04.

I am going to be applying for full-time teaching positions for that coming school year in my local areas.

My question is this, when I finish my requirments for my program, I have to wait for the graduation date/period to come around...which will be a couple months from when I finish.

How can I utilize my degree from Excelsior college to apply for teaching positions even though I haven't officially graduated - but would be scheduled for graduation?

    Any thoughts or suggestions?

Don't you have to apply for and receive an elementary or secondary teaching license first?

    No it is the opposite
........in order to receieve a temp. eligibility certification from the DOE (in Florida).......one needs to obtain a job first.....then the DOE will issue the temp cert.

    Letter from registrar

Hello, I suggest you get a letter from the registrar that states you have completed all degree requirements and will graduate on--03. This should make things easier. Hille

Thank you. This is what's so wonderful about this site, one learns something new everyday. It is the opposite in some states in which I have lived (unless things have changed in the past few year). Sorry to take up your time. Hopefully someone will answer your main question.
