Is degree from Queen Margaret Univesity College legtimate? It should be if it is granted Royal Charter. Where can one see the list of UK universities with royal charters. Thanks.
And University College London - largest of the University of London's consitutent colleges - goes one better: "university," "college," and "London!" Confusing those Brits are. --Orson
As I have explained elsewhere and in great detail on this forum, it is because Queen Margaret's is a University College, which has a very specific meaning under British law.
I believe that they are working on getting their royal charter. If memory serves, it is explained on their website somewhere that they had two immediate goals; one was to open the new campus and the other was royal charter. It seems that they are progressing towards both goals.
