Hello everybody! I am not sure if this is the right area to post this message, but I am not sure where else it would go. Anyhow, After weeks and weeks of waiting for Excelsior to evaluate my credits (they received my last transcript on 7/23/03) with no response, I decided to call them. I spoke with a very nice guy in admissions, who basically told me that I got "lost in the sauce" with all the California Applications they have been recieving of late, and that the results of my evaluation should be posted in 7-10 Business days. Happy that I may be making some progress with my applcation, I am curious why Excelsior is receiving an influx of appications from the state of California. (Yeah I know, I should have asked the guy when I had the chance) Am I missing something?
Why? Because California is no longer accepting Excelsior Nursing graduates as certified (or whatever they call it) in CA if they enrolled after Sept. ~13. I know of a couple of people myself who rushed their applications in at the last moment. I'm sure this didn't help you any.
