I have been trying to get some information from UNISA without success for almost a year. Information like a prospectus, application form, and the like. I have the feeling perhaps UNISA is not interested in students from overseas?
I'm sorry for your difficulties but I believe that you're wrong about UNISA's interest in non-SA students. Having just revisted their website I'd have to say that virtually all the information you seem to want is located there. You can even register online now. If, for some reason, this continues to be problematic then I'd suggest you visit IACI-Canada. They can help you along. http://www.iaci-canada.com Jack
Entirely pleased with UNISA I am only in my second semester at UNISA (one module last semester, one module this semester). To date, both the registrar and my lecturers/professors have responded to everyone of my emails. I do admit that I have had to become a bit more patient while waiting for a response. Maybe it's just beginners luck or the fact that I'm in an undergraduate program, but I have been pleased and pleasantly surprised by UNISA's service.
Re: Entirely pleased with UNISA Nope, it's not beginners luck. If you register on time you shouldn't have any problems registering for any of UNISA's programs. I'm now entering my second year with UNISA (DLitt et Phil degree) and I haven't encountered any administrative problems. My promoters (dissertation supervisors) have responded to all of my emails in a timely manner. UNISA is currently restructuring. There are other SA universities that have now amalgamated with UNISA. If you are encountering delays, be patient. Your professors will respond to your emails. regards,
