Golden State School of Theology

    Hey,
    I would like any new information concerning the current status of Golden State School of Theology becoming acrredited thru DETC. Is it true that DETC visited the school and wanted Golden State to make some changes. If Golden State does not become acrredited through the DETC. What if any is their next step in the process of Acrreditation?

    Don,

    According to Dr. Paul Graves of GSST, DETC did visit. GSST was unwilling to make the changes DETC required. For now, GSST will continue operating with California state license. This is sad. I enrolled in the M.Div. program in hopes of it becoming DETC accredited. I planned to stretch out my program until after DETC accreditation. Now, I have buckled down and should finish away before my initial goal.
