Looking for *online* TESOL or Applied Linguistics (or some variation of that) master's degrees. Anyone know of any besides Shenandoah University?

    TESOL & Applied Linguistics

Here are some DL applied linguistics and TESOL programs, although I don't know if they are specifically online (in contrast to paper-based distance learning):

    Macquarie University (AUS):
Master of Applied Linguistics (TESOL concentration)
    http://www.ling.mq.edu.au/programs/appling/Programs.htm

    Northern Territory University
    Master of Applied Linguistics
    http://mindil.ntu.edu.au/ntu/apps/coursere.nsf/vwURLCourse/288A6B727A700FFE69256C1700219F40?OpenDocument

    Leicester University
    MA Applied Linguistics and TESOL

    Good luck.

I recommend that you investigate the DL TESOL program at the University of Tasmania.

Good programs all, but not online. Thanks!

    Re: TESOL

Excellent! Exactly what I was looking for (and I've already exchanged e-mails with the dept. chair).

    Thanks!

Eight years later, I'm not sure that Tom is still looking for a TESOL program, but thanks for the information. :)

And eight years later, I'm not. To be honest, I can't remember what research I was doing because I already have a master's degree in that field. It might have been for a Bears' Guide. Or not.

Hi Tom - What's the status of your online high school guide. Updates?

    In the UK:

    University of Nottingham
    U. of Manchester
    U. of Reading
    U. of Birmingham

all of these are top unis and the programs really affordable.

    In Australia:
    Monash U.
    Wollongong U.
...they are more expensive unless you're an Australian citizen.
