I don't recall Nebraska Methodist being discussed much here, but as you no doubt know, it's RA and also has a buttload of specialized accreditation. The program looks to be about $35,000 total, which isn't bad at all for an RA doctoral program.

May I ask what it is that led you to this specific program?

Those weren't the only reasons for me, but because I am not getting any younger, shorter programs can't hurt.

Here are the main reasons that it might appeal to me:
    1. Cost. Because this one requires fewer credit hours, cost would come way down.
    2. My career has been a blend of 20+ years in healthcare and healthcare HR combined with becoming a teacher as a career switcher in my 50s, which I have done for the past 9 years.
    3. They prefer a clinical degree (which I have) and since I don't need a research Ph.D., the capstone might work -- though the jury is still out on that one.
    4. Finally, no GRE. I took and passed the GRE with flying colors 35+ years ago, but I'm just not up to jumping through that particular hoop at this point in my life. I will be more than happy to do a program that requires the MAT, but I'm scratching those programs that require the GRE off my list. It's a shame, too, but that's one hill that I don't have any interest in climbing again.

Drawbacks, as I see them, to this program (for me, at least) are the fact that there are no summer residency requirements. (As a teacher with my summers off, I have the time and the interest to do a few weeks in the summer in person.)

Also, I'm still debating on whether a program with a capstone in lieu of a dissertation is the right fit for me. That's why I wanted to hear from folks, if there are any, who have experience with the school.
