    Hello there everyone,

    I hope you're all well.

I am not sure if I am posting in the correct forum, but I was hoping someone could help me.

I am looking to do my Bachelors degree in Education through UNISA whilst I am living in Soctland, UK.

I would just like to know whether this degree is recognized and accredited here in the UK or would it be challenging to start my career in UK with a UNISA degree?? I have done a bit of research but can't seem to find anything recent enough to base my decision on.

    Any feedback is highly appreciated.

    Thank you so much!

    Kind regards,
    Shay

The acceptance of a foreign university degree usually depends o whether a university is regarded as legitimate I its own country. The University of South Africa is a very legitimate university.

Yes, but regulated professions like teaching can be a minefield when it comes to this sort of thing.

Shay, I would ask headmasters (or whoever hires faculty at Scottish schools) at the sorts of schools where you'd eventually like to teach. They would know better than anyone about the acceptability.
