    Good Morning All!

I've been doing some research on various DL programs to obtain my Ed.D or even Ph.D.. Does anyone know if schools give students the freedom to modify their programs? For instsnce, most have a Ed.D in Curriculum and Instruction (or Teaching/Instruction/Assessment) as well as in Special Education. Is there a way to have both specializations similar to a major and miner in undergraduate?

I've posed this question to the few schools I've been considering (Walden, Capella and Phoenix) and am awaiting a response, it's the weekend so I expect an answer sometime tomorrow. Both have been great at responding within the same day if not 24hrs.

I don't imagine that they'd object if you said that you wanted to pay to take extra courses.
