    Hi Guys!

I am a Professional with 7+ Years business experience, CEO, business owner and Senior Business Consultant. I hold a Master Degree in Business Administration (Cambridge UK).

I want know about the different options to get into Education.

I would like to spend a year in Eastern Europe / Asia (Russia) and teach Entrepreneurship / Business / Marketing at the University.I am also considering applying to PhD programs offered by online accredited business schools.

What do you suggest? Is it possible? Which is the best route?

Thank you very much for your advice!

I'm not sure I'm understanding you correctly but it seems to me that your expectations are more than a little unrealistic. First of all, MBAs are everywhere, nothing special. Seven years of experience is really not that much. Why would a university want to hire you for a year? Don't get me wrong, I'm sure you've got some skills, but let's face it, you've got a whole lot of competition most of whom have either more experience, more academic horsepower or both.

    Hello guys,

    Thanks for yor answers.

Why would they want to hire me?
1.Probably because of my professional achievements, experiments, letter of reference, exits,
    2. Education (Law School, Mba)
    3. Other skills

Anyway I really appreciate your feedback. Could you tell me what would you suggest me in order to realize this dream? Writing books, teaching online, a DBA or PhD?

    Thanks.

I suppose the quick answer is "PhD" because it is more research oriented and thus more scholarly.

Get a PhD, or become very well known as an entrepreneur.

    Guys,

    thanks for your answer.

How would you sell yourself "as successful entrepreneur" without disclosing too many information about yourself, your wealth and social status and your business?

I think I will go for a DBA or PhD.

Hmmm. What is your social status? And can you lend me $20?

How can you sell yourself and remain anonymous? Why would you want to? I would think that you'd want to publicize your business and its success.

    Dave, that is the point.

I would love to publicize my business and its success but as far as I know it is not a good idea especially in Eastern Europe / Russia.

Any suggestion? Do you think I should go there and speak directly with some professors teaching business / marketing? Not sure if they will sign a NDA.

I wouldn't count on it. There are good reasons for people to refuse to do so:

    Steveneurope,

It is difficult to give advice with so little to go on. Seems to me that your options are, take a PhD (assuming you get accepted), or write a bestseller in your area of expertise and get invited to do a round of guest lectures at European Universities and Businesses. If the latter works, write a second book. If the former works put out your shingle and see who knocks on the door.
