I have long appreciated everyone's input and insight on this forum and it has always proved helpful for me to gain a better understanding about distance/online education. In effort to pay it forward, I would be happy to provide my perspective about the Ed.D. program at CCU for those interested. I am currently on my sixth course and am enjoying it overall. I think by now I have a reasonably good basis to provide some judgement about the Ed.D. program and the school. Also, if there are any members on this forum who are in the same program, I would like to hear your thoughts. Please feel free to hit me up with any questions. Thanks!
Rich, I am not exactly sure what you mean by your question. If you are inquiring as to how will my education be geared to the needs of a particular set of employers or a specific job, it isn't. I already have a fair amount of professional experience in specific areas which will remain my career focus. Like many people, I am pursuing a degree because I am interested in it. It is simply a challenge and a personal goal.
What a coincidence Hi, I have a cousin who was getting ready to enroll in this school but he was telling me that since they are not title IV he will not receive an in-school deferment for his loans. I just learned of this school about a week ago.
The school is pretty cheap. I completed at BS and MBA from there many years ago and I made those degrees work well for me.
