    Hello,

I am looking for an online Masters in TESOL program that also offers a teacher licensing option. I know about concordia and Mizzou but they are both a little too expensive for me at the moment.

I found this one M.Ed. in English as a Second Language | ACE.edu but this does not have a licensing option. This is for $8450.

Are there any other options I may have missed around 10K? Am I being unrealistic?

    Thanks!

Others may know better but I believe that most people get their K-12 teaching certification as a part of their Bachelors degree program. It involves certain foundation level Education courses as well as student teaching hours. If you didn't get that as a part of your Bachelors then it has to get rolled into your Masters somehow. This is bound to take more time and add to the expense. You may want to check on the alternate routes to teacher certification through your state Dept. of Education before you commit to a program because it might be faster/cheaper in the long run.

EC-12 teacher licensure requirements will vary among States.
