I am looking into several 100% online Ed.D programs and I'm having trouble finding out how the classes are given. Does anyone have experience with University of New England, Concordia-Portland, or Drexel University? I'm trying to find out if they are the kinds of courses where you check in during the time you can even if it's midnight, or are there weekly web chat type meetings at a specific time?

Also any other advice or insight would be very helpful.

    Thanks

For the M.Ed. programs, Concordia-Portland was asynchronous. Everything was directly through the Blackboard site, and anything due had to be submitted by 11:59pm on that night the assignment was due, and that was it. No synchronous web-chats or anything like that. I don't believe that they've implemented anything like that for the EdD program. In my opinion, they are expensive, even with the 'graduate scholarship' they offer.
