This is western Governors univ so I think they are RA. Does anyone have an idea how quickly one could get through the program working full time? Just curious since it's by semesters.
I have to get certified anyway so this might be good in tx

If you're trying to get certified, that program won't due it for you. The website clearly says that's for already licensed teachers. If you're trying to get licensed to teach art in Texas, my suggestion for you would be to check out Texas' Department of Education and see what their requirements are and go from there. There may be some available programs. I know there are online grad programs for people who want to teach art, but I don't think WGU has one.

Why would you think that an instructional design degree would help you in getting a position as an art teacher?
