    Hi Saisidhu.

Have you checked the online job boards to see if your degree is in demand and what level (masters, Phd etc.)? Essentially, determine what jobs demand your degree's coursework, such as laboratory technician, etc. Also take into account what you do well and enjoy doing.

Do you have contacts in the life sciences industry in India? Talking to those contacts really should reveal what they're looking for in candidates. And it's networking, so if you can create a meaningful friendship and not one of convenience, that may give you a leg up on employment opportunities.

Even cold-calling some companies in that sector can give you some valuable insights if they don't hand up on you.

Have you considered consulting with a career counselor service? If you're really lost, sometimes it pays to do it.

A lot of this has to do with what the market demands, including internationally.
