    Hello computer people,

I know this doesn't relate to distance learning, but I was wondering if someone could help me.

My friend bought an old compaq proliant 5000 server with 2 pentium pros, 128 mb ram, and an 8 gig hard drive (scuzzy). We were trying to get it to recognize the hard drive to install win 2000, and in the compaq 'bios' hit reset power supply. Now, the server will not even power up.
I have a couple of questions that I hope those more knowledgable than I can answer. First of all, can anyone help me out on how to get the computer to power up again? Secondly, if not, can anyone give me a link to a good computer oriented forum where I can get some help?
I have tried searching the compaq website, but have not located the need info as of yet.

    Thanks in advance,
    Tony
