I'm not that close to graduating, but I will be graduating from FSU with a BS in Computer Science in Fall 2004. I figure I want to make sure all my duckies are in a row so when I finish I can immediately enter graduate school. After Summer semester I'm going to take the GRE for the first time, and then after the following fall semester, I'm going to start applying to grad schools. To make sure I get in somewhere I'm going to apply to 5 or 6 schools and then make my final decision between whoever accepts me. I'm guessing that I will have a 3.0+ GPA overall and a 3.8+ GPA in my major. My primary criteria is that the program is through distance learning (except for one local school) and that the school offers descent coverage of AI in their curriculum. The schools I have chosen to apply to are:

    1) University of South Florida (Not distance learning, but its a local school.)
    2) University of Florida
    3) Auburn University
    4) Colorado State University
    5) Depaul University

    6) Southern Methodist University (the cost is high, but the curriculum is really good. This is a fringe option.)

Does anyone have any thoughts about the Computer Science programs at these schools?
