Just a heads up that the ACM offers a bunch of (near 200) DigitalThink courses for free as a member service. Here is the listing of available courses.

You can get credit for these courses from U of P, and the details are here.

(Note: It looks like the per course/credit fee is up to $35 rather than $25 and there is a $90 processing fee per transaction. This is still cheaper than most state schools per credit assuming that you submit multiple courses at once.)

Hello, I am wondering if the credit agreement is exclusive with U of P. Any ideas? Hille

does Excelsior, TESC, or COSC accept these CEU's as credit?

I would assume that you could transfer these courses from U of P to any other RA school, but I do not think that the programs are looked at by ACE, unlike FEMA credits, so I doubt that they are accepted directly.

It may be possible to use these training courses in a portfolio situation, but I seriously doubt that you can go directly to Excelsior, TESC, or COSC with these credits.

    Excelsior and Learning Tree Courses

I just received a notice from my advisor at Excelsior that Excelsior will grant credit for some courses offered by Learning Tree. I had asked my advisor about several courses that my boss would like me to take in the next year and I thought would fit in with my degree plan.

So it's possible that Excelsior will consider granting credit for other similar coures.

It's best to check this out in advance before taking courses to make sure the institution you are enrolled in will granted credit.

    CEU/TRA

I visited one of the links Cory suggested, and observed courses given by TRA is considered for credit. I've taken a number of TRA Telecommunication/SONET type courses on my job, but I believe I'll have to go the portfolio route to obtain credit for them, seen that I've enrolled at ESC. That was very helpful info.
