    Hey guys,

How are you all doing ?

I am looking for affordable MSIT/MSIS graduate programs. I have used websites like petersons and gradtrek, but so far the best pointers I have recieved, come from contributors on this site.

I hope you guys can help. I am at an important turning point in my life , where I 'must' decide what I would like to do with the rest of it - I must say, I should have made this decision earlier, but you know what they say ; never say never.

These are some schools I have found three of which came from this site:

    • Minot State (seems online only)
      Dakota State
      Fort Hays State
      University of central missouri

I have been dabbling in IT for the most part of my life, and have seem to develop a natural inclination towards it. I have wasted a whole year studying economic development and politics, and I cant see myself waking up every morning for the rest of my life thinking about these topics.

I am interested in predictive analytics, databases, ecommerce and web development.

    Thanks for your time.

What do you mean IN-CLASS? You mean the program is taught in class conjunction with online? Or the program requires limited residency?

    Hi Tekman,

thanks for replying. I meant traditional programs and not online programs.

    Thanks again.

You do realize that degreeinfo is a distance learning discussion board, do you not?

That is hard to advise for you because 90% the traditional program in your state of residence is cheaper than out of state tuition, and we do not know where you live. Therefore, we cannot tell you which institute is cheapest. Those institutions you mention from the original posts are from different states. Their tuition are vary depends which state you are qualified for in-state tuition.

    "Minot State (seems online only)
    Dakota State
    Fort Hays State
    University of central missouri"

The question for you is, which state is your residence? Secondly, which state you are planning to move to for the traditional program?

If you are looking at on campus programs cost of living is likely to be a bigger drive than tuition cost. Most masters are 2 years. 2 years living expenses, moving, etc.
