    I don't know that computer science education needs to change but I would say that not everyone who does programming needs skills and expertise in data structures and algorithm analysis, computational theory, etc. There are some programming jobs/tasks that make use of the computer scientist work to perform other programming tasks that may be more trivial but no less important.
