My younger brother's son either just finished or is nearly finished with his bachelor's in software engineering at the University of Toledo and he was either offered a job (or maybe he was called for an interview for) making $125,000 straight out of his bachelor's as some kind of computer professional, the only hitch being that he would have to move to the Motor City to take this job. My Dad told me about this when he (Dad) was in a nursing home for rehab after he had taken a bad fall that put him in hopspital. My Dad's take on this was he hoped that TAyler would not "screw up." And screw up meant taking grsad school rather than the $125,000. In a subsequent conversation with my Dad and then later my brother, I pointed out that my nephew could do both/and by taking that 125K computer consultant/software engineer job aqnd going to grad school online. The only two software engineering online grad programs are Carnegie Mellon's Carnegie Mellon University - CMU online master's in software and Southern Methodist's Southern Methodist University - World Changers Shaped Here - SMU online doctorate in software engineering. I think I just saw upthread thsat Harvard Extension has an ALM in Software Engineering, so I'll add that to my mlist. Are there any others out there that I should know about?
