    Hi.

I frequently visit computer sites to where I saw this posting on obtaining a degree in Technology Management. After reviewing the programs offered, I saw one that directly relates to my job as employed as an Oracle DBA.

    Here is the address: www.spjc.edu.

Please let me know of your thoughts.

St. Petersburg college is a junior or community college in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. It is accredited by SACS as a level I college (AA, AS, and similar).

As 2 year colleges go, it is totally acceptable.

St. Petersburg College is one of several community colleges in Florida that has just received authorization to award 4-year degrees. This August, they will begin enrolling students for their Bachelor degree program in three fields (Education, Nursing, and Technology Management). They are accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

If you are a Florida resident, tuition is a true bargain at $52.70 per credit hour. If you reside out of state, the tuition of $194.12 per credit hour is not that competitive.

Moreover, note that their Bachelor of Applied Science in Technology Management is a degree completion program and requires an AS in one of twelve specific areas (or, if the Dean approves, an AA) for admission to the program. It also appears to be the only degree program offered completely online.

As far as the reputation of their Bachelor’s degrees, keep in mind that if you enroll this August, you will have the distinction of being a member of the first graduating class.
