Fredo, in this forum, you are standing on the shoulders of the great giants of online learning. (I do not include myself in this category).:notworthy: Do some word searches and see what you can learn here. I stumbled onto this forum sometime during the great Cal Coast discussions, during which time Cal coast became DETC accredited from a state school. I saved myself from getting a PhD which was not recognized in the right circles at the time, and went to another online school that was recommended many on this forum. School X was accredited, although its origins were less than wonderful due to the shady dealings of its owner. When the environment at this school soured for me, the forum had lots of excellent information on overseas universities. I availed myself of this information and was able to land a distance phD studentship at a South African bricks and mortar university. My overall PhD journey has not been easy, and I made some mistakes, but I am glad to finally be at a school that is reasonable and respected.
