I move around a lot my husband is active duty military and there is no way for me to attend a bachelor's program in my area since i won't be here the full years required to complete. My question is what is your take in Capella i have read reviews on this school over and over again but not very good reviews, they really bash this school and its not very recent i would like to see recent reviews on this school, however when looking at all the important information such as accreditation and so forth they meet accreditations. They are accredited regionally Capella University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA) they are also accredited by ABET they have also been designated a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education (CAEIAE) for the academic years 2012–2017 by the National Security Agency Department of Homeland Security and many other known recognitions and they also have many alliances with other universities.

Would you recommend this school, are their bachelor's considered by companies and are considered for hire? i have read in many other sites that they don't even consider them if its from Capella and all these negative reviews and so forth. I found their flexibility and their program best suits what i am looking for. Any advice? Do they hire with degrees from Capella? I just want to make sure i know what i am getting to before i commit. I am interested in the Health Information Technology Bachelor's program.

I would suggest you go with reputable B&M schools that offers online programs

Even though 21st Century, distance learning (online) is still bias. Therefore, you should avoid infamous higher academic institutions as possible. I don't mean Capella University is infamous; however, people usually criticize degrees from profit and solely distance learning institutions. I used to have a direct manager, he would shred any resume with University of Phoenix, Westwood College, Strayer University, ITT Tech, DeVry University, and etc..

If you see most members of this forum attended/attending Capella University for Doctorate only because Doctorate degree via distance learning is limited option. Since you're seeking for undergraduate level, I would second with UNPREZ's idea.

There are also cheaper options that don't come with the for profit stigma.
