I would vote for Virginia Tech. The question is what do you want to do?

I would say it depends on where you live. I'd choose Fullerton just because of the close proximity to my location. Plus CSU Fullerton is one of the better Cal State schools. I think enterprise architecture is more of an IT-meets-business type of field, so I would choose the MSIT over software engineering.

I agree with Atrox, enterprise architecture is more into system engineering type over software engineering. Therefore, MS IT would fit your career path.

Virginia Tech has a reputation as one of the top schools in the US for engineering. For example, the 2014 US News rankings for graduate-level engineering programs put Virginia Tech as #24 in the US, between Harvard (#23) and Johns Hopkins/Penn State/U of Washington (tied for #25).

Fullerton State is regarded as a decent school in the Southern California area. It has little or no reputation outside of Southern California.

In terms of national engineering reputation, Virginia Tech is far ahead of Fullerton State. This does not necessarily mean that Virginia Tech is automatically the better choice, but it is a factor to consider.
