I just recently got out of the military. 3 years IT exp, now to get a degree.

I had my mind set on a Bachelor of Science - Information & Computer Sci-Network & Security from park.
    http://www.park.edu/ics/majorsAndCourses/degree.aspx?degree=BS-ISNT

from researching I find out this degree would only be HLC regionally accredited?

Since it's not CAC or ABET accredited I won't get any real employment???

All the ABET/CAC schools have a crap load of math...If I have to go to one of those schools I will.

I need a decent job, I don't want to waste my free college on a bogus degree.

    Please and thanks!

Which part of IT are you looking to break into (Security / Programming / Networking / etc...) ? Do you have any certifications now?

I do work for a large IT company. ABET's a big deal for engineering, but I don't think it's very important for computer science or information systems. If you want to work with computers, I don't see anything wrong with Park.

Your chosen field will be a good one. I don't know where you are located, and I assume that you have the GI bill, but you can go to a better school than Park:
    (a) Start with community colleges in your local area and state schools. Stay away from the for-profits.
    (b) Go to the IT section of this website, there is tons of advice on good IT schools.
    (c) If you are in the DC area, Capitol College is very good for IT degrees, but their program is not entirely online.
    (d) Here are some "Better- than- Park" suggestions:

Online IT Security Degree | Information Security Degree | WGU College of Information Technology

Cybersecurity Degree Online | BS in CIT | SNHU

    Cybersecurity Programs - UMUC

Information Security Degree | Grand Rapids Community College

If you need to take math, bite the bullet and do it. I was afraid of math when I was younger, but did much better later in life. It is not so bad.

I'm in Louisiana, I'm willing to relocate to go to college. My gi bill pays me housing. I prefer a classroom.

Park University is a decent public institution; however, I would not recommend go for that route. Since ABET is not really required for Information Technology field, unless you are required to get state license. I would recommend you to find a job and working on your degree at local University. Therefore, you can receive housing allowance to support your studies. Because Information Technology is heavily on experiences over educations. A college degree is a check mark requirement instead mandatory, but sometimes IT certifications worth more than a Master degree.

In the IT Industry, just as TEKMAN said, A college degree is a check mark requirement instead mandatory, but sometimes IT certifications worth more than a Master degree.

I don't know what to do, so basically I shouldn't go to park.

Only cert I have is A+ and 3 years of Exp from the military and prior to that always taking apart computers and fixing them.

I have no major intrest in programming. I like the IT side fixing issues.

I just don't wanna be working for minium wage or making 20k a year.. I need advice.

You have to accept that way; otherwise you'll spend times at Park University, then end up starting at square one. As my recommendation to you is working on your IT certifications, and enroll into college while receiving full-time BAH ($2,150.00) per month around Washington DC. Getting a job at entry level, or if you luck you start at the intermediate level at least $50,000.00/year. If you are in the IT fields, experience speaks for itself.
