Right now I am pursuing my BE in India .... And I have plans to go abroad for my masters..... Generally masters in USA is a 2 year course ..... I have heard that if I do the CCIE Cisco certification then universities give a deduction of one year if u do masters in networking..... Is it true ??? Is it worth doing CCIE ??
It is possible in India, but not in the United States. Even though Western Governors University is not the case neither. Usually you can complete your Master degree within a year as full-time student status. A Master degree requires 10 courses, you are allowed to take 4 courses per semester for Fall and Spring, you can take 2 courses in Summer.
You might be able to finish a M.S. in six months (1 term) at Western Governors University if you already know the material well enough.
