Best universities for software engineering in USA

I am a mechatronics engineer who is interested in going for software engineering in the USA. So far, the only credible universities I've found seems to be Carnegie Mellon and University of Texas that offers a masters in Software Engineering. I'm not interested in the theory-heavy Computer Science major nor am I into Computer Engineering where hardware comes into play.

I must say I don't have full time work experience since I've only just graduated, which leaves Carnegie Mellon out of the question as they only take in experienced professionals......which leaves me with University of Texas alone.

Have I missed any other good universities offering software engineering, or is that it?
