    Hi,

I have completed BCA and I am currently enrolled in 3 year MCA program. I am in my 2nd year now. I have an opportunity to go USA. I am debating whether to leave MCA in the middle or complete it? Has anyone tried to evaluate their BCA degree in US? Do US colleges count BCA from India as credible Bachelor Degree in US? If I leave MCA now, what would be my best option for further studies in US?

    Thank you for your time.

WES has a policy for evaluating 3-year degrees. WES is well respected among US Universities. Your BCA might count as equalent of a bachelor degree.

Transfer of graduate level courses (your MCA) is subjective. I would suggest choosing your US college and program first, then inquire them directly about what courses you completed in MCA can be transferred.

To do what? Would you attend school here instead, or come for some other purpose?

On Green card. I would like to enroll in MS Computer Science. But will I be able to based on 3 yrs of BCA & 1.5 out of 3 yrs of MCA?
There seems to be two option based on what I have researched.
3 yrs of BCA + 1.5 yrs of MCA + (TAKE REMAINING (SOME) COURSES HERE) = Bachelor in Computer Science in US and then MS
    or
3 yrs of BCA + 3 yrs of MCA = Admission in MS

    Am I on right track?

On Green card. I would like to enroll in MS Computer Science. Based on my research, it seems like there are two options:
    1. 3 yr BCA + 1.5 yr of 3 yrs + (TAKE REMAINING (SOME) CREDITS HERE) = US Bachelor in Computer Science then MS in Computer Science (Reg admission)
    2. 3 yr BCA + 3 yr MCA = Admission in MS Computer Science

Your first step should be to get an evaluation. It will be well worth the money you spend (~$200). Make sure you get it from a member of NACES

I would say instead that if you don't have a destination school in mind to make sure to get it specifically from WES, since they're the best recognized among colleges and universities. If you do have a specific school in mind then obviously you should get it from whatever provider they prefer.
