I'm coming to the good folks at degreeinfo for some advice. I finished my BS in January and I'm ready to knock out some classes. In my spare time I read books and mess around with tutorials on lynda.com. Right now I'm considering knocking out a certificate or some classes in graphics and multimedia design. I'm interested in logos and high quality videos specifically. I don't feel like I need another degree, but I would love to have some classes in these areas on my transcripts since I come from a trade background. Right now I’m leaning towards UCSD. I’m currently signed up to start my second classes with them towards the end of September. They offer web media and digital arts programs that look interesting. I also notice that they utilize lynda.com for some of their classes, which is a plus. If any of you guys have any affordable programs in these two areas, please share. My budget is 5k-10k. I've looked at: Sessions UC Silicon Valley American University Grad Cert Digital Media UMass (Lowell and Darmouth) Must University (Must I mention them?)
Yes getting certificates are really very important. Take admission in some course that you feel interested in. After you get the certificate, you would be able to show that to various places. That would help you to grow in your life actually.
Do you think what you are saying is of any relevance to what the OP is asking? He is asking for specific information - not general advice, like "yes...go and study and be a good boy"!!!
