I want to pursue a bachelors degree in information systems. I've been considering either SNHU or UMass. Does anyone know if one online program is better than the other? I'm looking to use the degree to get a job in the field and pursue a masters as well. I have an associates from a community college so I really only need to take the classes for the major. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. I just don't want to get a degree from somewhere and not be able to use it if it's not considered all that great.
    Thanks in advance!

The degree from SNHU or UMass is acceptable. However, what are you doing looking? I mean in term of value/reputation or costs wide? The degree from UMass has more reputation than SNHU. Also, I would recommend you to choose the school closer to where you live to avoid any future criticism for distance learning degree.

My recommendation is UMass Lowell for IT. Be careful with SNHU. They're an ok school but they've taken a turn towards overexposure with marketing and that's never a good thing for the reputation of a school.

I really like the UMASS IT program. It is a know and well regarded state university system, and as mentioned, it does not over advertise. This is probably due to enrollments being just as fine or they may even be over subscribed.
