Not surprisingly, I'm having trouble finding online Circuit Theory classes. Excelsior offers one called ELEC-152. The tempting thing about Excelsior is.. the class doesn't seem to have any proctored exams - which I assume will make it easy. However it's really expensive. Are there any other online options? The course description needs to be similar to this: "Introduction to electrical elements, sources and interconnects. Ohm's law, Kirchhoff's law, superposition and Thevenin's theorems are introduced. The resistive circuit, OP Amp, RL, RC circuits, Sinusoidal analysis."
Hmmm...the only place I could think of that would offer that course online is the University of North Dakota (since they offer the entire BS in Electrical Engineering online). However, I don't see it listed as an open enrollment course. Maybe you can contact them and ask if you can take just that course. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering | Online & Distance Education And here are the course descriptions for the EE curriculum: http://distance.und.edu/degree/about/?id=electricalengbs&page=1903 edit: It looks like they offer it but you have to take an on-campus lab in the summer. Probably a deal breaker: EE 206 - Circuit Analysis 3 Credits Online Fall Prerequisite(s): Math 165**. Introduces the foundations of electrical engineering, applying these concepts in developing the fundamentals of energy conversion, electronics and circuit theory. Requires on-campus lab (EE 306) to be taken in the summer.
