I'm about to enroll in Baker College's Bachelor of
Computer Information Systems degree program. If there are any negative comments about this college, please let me know before I proceed. Is it fully accredited? How does it compare to a degree from a local university? I heard Baker College is not ACBSP accredited. How much is tuition? Can I transfer classes from my local university? How's the curriculum for a job? I was thinking of enrolling in ACCIS, but heard some negative comments, though I like it's curriculum very much, because currently I'm a web designer and a lot of their classes focused on the internet and web design. Is there an online program in Information Systems with more of a web design curriculum and dealing with a Linux/Apache/Perl environment?

    thanks...

  2. I'd contact Baker and talk to an admissions or educational adviser.

As for accreditation, Baker provides this info at http://www.baker.edu/bakerinfo/accreditation.html

Baker College is accredited by The Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Several of its health occupation programs have professional accreditation.
