West Florida I happen to do a google search for CS degrees and was looking through each school that came up. I came across West Florida. I know they were mentioned here that they offer an MSA Database Admin which did not interest me. However, I believe they have changed things and from what I gather from the web site and from contacting them is that they now are offering a MS. CS with a specialty in database systems. I am really looking at this program because most other CS degrees require that I take many pre-req classes that would drive the cost up considerably since I have a business degree and not an undergrad CS or engineering degree. I also like that for required paper exams I can use my local testing center. They also have a out-of-state tuition waiver that brings the cost down. I also wanted a CS degree and not CIS/IS/MIS. You do have to do either a GRE or GMAT. The tuition isn't the lowest, but I believe the other factors carry weight. Their BS engineering degrees are ABET accredited, and I think being associated with a school like that will carry some weight. BTW, they are considering a decrease in the tuition waiver and it will go down from a 100% waiver to 90% for 2012 from what I have heard. Still a reasonable deal. Anyone know of something comparable? I'm still searching.
Minot State University - MS in Information Systems. This 30-credit degree program may be completed in two academic semesters (10 months). Tuition is just $304/credit! The GRE is not required.
