    Hi Every body,

I need to compare a level of diploma certificate in IT between ICCP Software Engineering, British Computer Society and ACP. Which is the highest level and widest recognized diploma? Can anybody help me. Thanks.

ACP: Professional Courses - Association of Computer Professionals
ICCP: ICCP -The standard in certification for business intelligence, data management and computing
BCS: Professional Graduate Diploma in IT | Course overview | About | Higher Education Qualifications | Professionals | Qualifications, Training, Careers | BCS - The Chartered Institute for IT

BCS and ACP are UK based bodies. I am not sure how much they are valued in the USA.
In my personal opinion, ICCP is not caching up with the Industry off late. Last time I checked, their link on ACENET web site is deactivated. I contacted them regarding the ACE credits and this is their reply:

    Thanks msganti so much.

Could you advise me the other alternative for BCS in the USA?

AFAIK, there is no professional body in the USA like BCS of UK whose qualifications are directly evaluated as equivalent of a degree or a diploma.
ICCP used to be a good option - but no ACE credit killed the deal (IMHO). Excelsior College still (seems to) gives credit for ICCP exams - but I could not find more details on either's websites.

Sorry for asking so much, but I need your help. I am considering to pursue Professional Graduate Diploma in IT, British Computer Society (BCS). I choose BCS because of the following reasons:
    1. They allow me to self-study so the total fees will be very cheap.
    2. Its Diploma in IT is recognized as the equivalent of a British Bachelors degree so I can eligible for master of software engineering after getting BCS Diploma.

However, I am still wonder about the values of its Diploma. Is it widely recognized? If no, could you advise me the other alternative for BCS?
Here are list of some other professional body. However, I dont know which is the best one.
    Australian Computer Society (ACS)
    Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS)
    Computer Society Of India (CSI-India)

    Thank you very much.

BCS is a Chartered(Royal) Institute for IT, it is licensed by UK EC it's qualifications and diplomas are equivalent and in this case to US Bachelors degree in IT from Regionally Accredited College / university and ABET (USA) accredited.

BCS is accrediting programs in UK universities. One can register with EC UK as an IENg or CEng. Your qualifications also recognized by Sydney accord and you can also get registered internationally.
