Hello, While I was surfing the internet, I came to pmp certification requirements. My question: it's mentioned that for bachelore graduate, you have to have 4500 experience hours within the last 6 years. is it correct ?? only within the last six years ??! thanks
40 hours a week * 52 weeks = 2080 hours a year. If you do project related work on a regular basis it should be easy to accomplish.
PMdlcurious thanks a lot, my issue most of my job can be under operational rather than projects :irked:
I thought it was 8 years. Maybe I'm wrong? I'm in the application process of earning a PMP right now. I originally planned on testing in August but a lot of it has to do with whether my employer will pay for the bootcamp course $2K or not. If not I'll have to put it off another year.
It is 8 years. On page 8 of all places. http://www.pmi.org/en/Certification/~/media/PDF/Certifications/pdc_pmphandbook.ashx friendorfoe -- The Cheetah Bootcamp is what I did. I crushed the exam on the first try. That was nearly 7 years ago. Wow, that makes me feel old.
