UCLA Extension certificate program in applications programming

Hey guys,

I have only recently enrolled in a certificate program in applications programming at UCLA extension, beginning this spring quarter. I have very little idea about the level of toughness of the courses at UCLA extension and the general experience students have.

If there are members here who have enrolled at UCLA extension in the above mentioned certificate program, would you please be able to share your experience with me?

I'm not familiar with UCLA Extension but I have experience with UC Irvine Extension. I loved my class at UC Irvine and it wasn’t hard at all. My instructors did a great job breaking the information down and provided over 60-minutes worth of narrated slides per chapter. With all of that content how can you not do well?

 

Oh thank you. I am also considering a certificate program at UC Irvine simultaneously, they have a web intelligence online certificate, which is something that interests me. Also, how are career opportunities after certificate programs? I was not able to finish off my masters due to funding concerns and dropped out to pursue this certificate program. Does it matter in the industry if you did a graduate program or a certificate program? I do have good skills.

 

I'm considering the web intelligence program myself.

I'm not sure about jobs after completing the certificate program, but one of my search engine optimization instructors claimed the SEO field was wide open.

I remember looking in to UCLA Extension Certificate in Computer Science.

The classes are the same as one will be taking in UCLA upper lever classes for Bachelors In CS.

I assume that App Programming is as highly regarded.
