    It's not unreasonable for someone to ask a forum like this about a school's hidden costs. Many schools do a masterful job hiding the total cost of ownership, and current and former students may have something to say about it.

    Shouldn't be any other than an annual $100 library/technology fee, which is not exactly hidden :)

    Wait the fee isn't hidden? or the library isn't hidden?

    Actually thought the effort was a great move, but DSC or MS Tech students should be forced to sign up for the student ACM membership: $19

    sources were great for essays, and perfect background reading for the final paper
