Bellevue University now offers a new MS in Cybersecurity. The program looks solid as far as covering the management aspect of information security CBK. Would have been nice if Cryptography, and Telecom/Network security had a course dedicated to each, instead of the "Ethics course," the "Human Aspect course," as well as the "Current Trends course," which lean the program away from being "technical enough" to just a management one.

Why do I see this as Bellevue jumping on the bandwagon?

Yes they are, and many more institutions will join very soon. There is huge demand for information security professionals by the federal government. They need as many security professionals as possible trained and be ready to defend U.S Government 's interest on cyberspace. That's why we're seeing all the new information security programs with obscure names; cybersecurity, information assurance, etc. What is lacking presently are "stand alone" doctoral programs in information security/assurance (the federal government prefers Information Assurance degrees over cybersecurity or information security although they are all technically the same, but only slightly different in focus).

Capitol College has taken the lead to create one (DSc in Information Assurance), which to my understanding have more than enough applicants. Nova Southeastern is also developing a PhD in Information Assurance. NCU has a Computer and Information Security specialization in their Business doctoral program. However, the program, which was once accredited by the National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security, is no longer accredited. I'm assuming NCU is too lazy to keep up with the accreditation requirements. Capella and DSU are other nice DL IS/IT programs with security specialization.
