Anyone have a CCNA Bootcamp recommendation. Although a Florida location is preferred, a quaility program is the most important qualifier. Also, there are kits available Cisco Certification: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, used Cisco router, Cisco switch, Cisco routers. Is the smart move to go with a quality bootcamp or self learn by buying a kit? The student in question went through a Cisco program in HS and currently works as an IT Specialist. So there is familiarity with the basics. He works 50 hours +, so the bootcamp is appealing. Thanks in advance!
I did a 2-day boot camp through my employer, but I don't think it would have been worth paying for. I'm sure there are some good ones out there though. I do recommend buying a kit off of eBay, since you can get them much cheaper. That's what I did, except I built my kit up in pieces. Here's an example: CISCO LAB 2 ROUTERS 2 SWITCHES ICND CCNA CCNP 2610 1750 - eBay (item 320610051966 end time Oct-31-10 18:55:27 PDT) I also recommend good test prep software. I purchased the Transcender exam and it definitely tracks the exam objectives closely. So it's the same price either way, and he can earn the CCENT if he passes ICND1.
