I am currently finishing my MBA with a concentration in IT. I would like to supplement this with a graduate certificate in IT to allow me to teach as an adjunct. I am looking for Graduate Certificate programs in IT delivered online from brick and mortar schools. My budget would be up to 20k for a school with a great program, but less would be better. My profile as a student is a MBA (4.0) from a Catholic masters university and a BS from a Tier 4 national university (3.8 in last 60) with a 680V/610Q/4.5 GRE. Programs I am aware of: University of Illinois - Graduate Certificate in Security or Information Systems Syracuse University - CAS Telecommunications Management or Security What other programs should I be researching? I am not interested in any of the for profit online schools.
Charles Sturt University is a brick-and-mortar university in Australia offering graduate and post-graduate certificates along with degrees. The course can be taken via distance education mode.
How many credits do you need? If you only need a few, Fort Hays State University offers a "Graduate Certificate in Management Information Systems" (4 courses = 12 credits ... cost: $2,700): http://www.fhsu.edu/virtualcollege/degrees/certificates/graduate-MIS/ Although Fort Hays is often discussed here for its online/distance programs it has a large campus and has existed since 1902.

Great, I'll take a look at these. I almost did UMASS online for my MBA but got a great opportunity for a face to face MBA in town for free and taught one night per week at my office.
